Discipline, Identity & Habits
Let’s explore the powerful relationships between core ideology, behavioral habits and identity. By understanding how our purpose, values and daily routines shape our identity (and vice versa), we delve into practical strategies for cultivating a new kind of discipline. Through real-life examples and actionable insights, attendees gain a deeper understanding of how clearly defining personal and organizational ideology while consciously crafting behavioral habits can transform lives and organizations and reinforce a strong sense of self-discipline.
Accountability
Traditional approaches to accountability tend to cause frustration, exhaustion and burnout. We know we need it, some of us have strong desires for it, but most of us do not really enjoy it. It is time to make accountability accountable by shifting the focus of conversation to clarity, co-creation, and agreement. We will explore actionable strategies and approaches to accountability that begin with personal connection as we move from assignment to agreement and identify the importance of being regular and relational.
Discretionary Effort (Ei = iE)
How do we get more out of people? How do we motivate others to go above and beyond what is generally expected? Emotional Intelligence (Ei) is the key to creating increased effort (iE) for the people you are leading. Let’s discover the energy that is generated when we make the people around us feel seen, heard and valued. Participants will gain an understanding for the power of empathy and the direct correlation to getting production and results.
DAD LIFE
I’m really passionate about being a good dad and helping others that want to be good dads. When I speak & facilitate, I’m often leading from the same place that I do as a parent and I find myself encouraging those that are parents to do the same. The three main areas I explore in my keynotes are Discipline, Accountability and Discretionary Effort (DAD), these can be applied personally and professionally. I get excited about opportunities to speak directly to dads about being DADs.
